housewife costume

"Housewife costume concept so far. Delicate
to the point of impracticality, visibly
uncomfortable but also highly sexualized,
perilous to wear.*

firework mosaic

Mosaic of a firework I never finished, made of uranium
glass, random trinkets, and things I found in the
Humber River. I was unaware when I glued the uranium
glass that the adhesive I was using was also UV
fluorescent and on top of that it dried with weird
bubbles underneath. I started removing the uranium
glass pieces, cleaning them, painting the underside
white, and gluing them back in their places however
after the adhesive fully cured it became impossible
to remove the glass. I salvaged what I could from
this piece and reused the bits in other projects.

prescott buildings

An idea I had in 2022 inspired by those tactile fabric
books for toddlers where I was going to assemble a
book made of rainbow ordered coloured "pages* of
fabric, each representing a different building on the
main street of my hometown. I was then going to do a
monochromatic beaded fabric collage of each building
on it's assigned page. I only ever got one page
finished, the project was incredibly expensive and
time consuming so I gave up.
