hand-sewing projects

stripper outfit

I made this stripper outfit in January 2026 after
signing up to perform at a lesbian amateur stripping
event. The pattern was inspired by an outfit I saw on
etsy and felt like I could just make myself. The fabric
came from old clothes and a lot of the hardware came
from old accessories I had laying around. The doll at
the back was found on the ground. I did wear this to
perform and the doll fell off on stage.

transparent purse

This purse was one of the first and only projects that
I bought some fabric specifically for. Usually all of
the fabric I use is harvested from old clothing. Many
parts like the rhinestone fabric, the realtree fabric,
some hardware, the decorations, and the rainbow straps
were taken from old clothes though. I used some of the
same fabrics to make a matching sketchbook.

upcycled corset

I upcycled this corset from Shein. I replaced the front
ribbon with baby shower ribbon, outlined the front ribs
of the corset with rhinestones and plastic bow garland
then added charms beside all the front closure things.
Top one is a massive opal, then there's a ship brooch,
a unicorn figure and a lipgloss I found on the street,
a coffin-shaped glass locket filled with dead wasps, and
an angel head I pulled out of the lake.

I thrifted two broken necklaces for this piece, the hot
pink flowers detailing the one side came from one necklace
and the light pink flower and pearl and rhinestone ends on
the tassels came from the other. The glass rhinestones
turned out to be made of uranium glass. The tassels also
feature beads I thrifted and found on the ground, amethyst,
aura quartz, and some hair accessories.

On the opposite side of the necklace flowers I did beaded
flowers using these white fake pearl flower beads I found on
the street and random beads from my stash for their centres.
The metal and white rhinestone charms were all pulled from the
Humber River this summer and the glittery plastic pink and
purple pieces I found on the street.

trinket skirt

This skirt was inspired by the Sandy Liang trinket
skirt. It's got realtree fabric on the front and a
fish motif on the back. The trim and the stitches
are UV fluorescent pink and the pockets all have
snaps to keep things inside. The lace up sides
are adjustable.

trash outfit

My trash outfit was made over a satin skirt and shirt I
thrifted separately but they happened to match. They were
both pastel pink then I hand dyed them with pink, purple,
and gold ink. I used a spray fixative over the dye and blew
holographic glitter into it as it dried. I made the top
first with no plans to do the bottoms until I finished the
top and saw how insane it looked. I brought this outfit
to my hometown by train and wore it to a local agricultural
fair. The sun faded the ink-dye significantly and the fixative
did not hold the glitter well. This was eventually taken apart
and the pieces were reused in other projects.
